The breakfast selection was impressive and the room we stayed in was newly renovated, functional, and had complimentary tea and 15 cm mattresses.

the venue is simple, it offers great breakfast and has particularly good location close enough to bus station, a city centre and dully furnished' hotel' huzar.

It was clean, everyone was polite and really kind. All rooms were huge and spotless. The location was convenient and marvellous - a short walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel was a lovely place for enjoying a pretty quiet area.

It was just what we needed: a good and solid hotel without unnecessary luxury. It was a very good combination of fair (almost too low) price and good service. Good breakfast. ..... Location is where it is, but not farther from the centre that many of us walked from the town centre, one over 80 years old.........We shall recommend it to our friends, and I shall also consider this hotel next time we come to Lublin
Only a remark: Please stress the importance towards the local authorities of a good Tourist Information. I mailed them in advance for making agreements for guiding, but they did not respond. Perhaps they have too small resources. This was no problem for the Tourist Office in our next town, Zamosc.

The location was great, in the center of the city, very close to attractions like an aquarium and public transportation.

Good Value for money, clean and polite stuff. No Buffet Breakfast, but still the breakfast served was huge.

Very kind staff. Excellent breakfast (Polish kitchen).
The staff, though great, but a little too tense (looks like most people in Poland), I'd like to see the staff more relaxed and smiling.

The guest room had excellent Wi-Fi connection. Great value for money with 15cm mattresses. - Reasonable location in Lublin close to Huzar. - On the outskirts of the centre.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff were pleasant.
Staff came off as a little stiff but that was due to their lack of English more than anything else. Breakfast was a little paltry by North American standards but included in the price of the room.

Hotel has a free big car parking, free WI-FI internet access in the room, good breakfast. My room was big and comfortable. I found everything, that expected.

The room had a comfortable twin bed with a work desk, tea and coffee facilities, and a TV, and there was also a wake-up service available.

Huzar is an old-looking, old-school-style hotel in the suburbia of Lublin. It is not quite central, but it is still well-connected to downtown by bus (and taxi is very cheap in Lublin, even in the night). Many in the staff couldn't speak english at all, but all were very friendly and helpful. We were given a room with two single beds, but it was a matter of a minute to obtain a room with a queen-sized bed instead. The breakfast buffet is not luxurious, but still more personal/local than those of the huge chain hotels (no eggs and bacons and beans, for example, but interesting if simple polish dishes). All in all, good value for money. (Actually we only wanted to spend one night in Lublin on our way to a further destination, but we were quite impressed by the town and we regretted not having booked for at least one more day).
No fridge in the room. My laptop found a wireless network, but eventually wi-fi did not work, although I tried hard to fix it.

Generally a very nice hotel. Nothing especially outstanding about it but many things are at very high level for its price. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable clean rooms, convenient (and really clean) bathrooms, delicious breakfasts and good location. In my room I had a modern LCD TV-set and a big mirror which is cool. Also, every day their houskeepers supplied rooms with 2 bottles of water - still and sparkling. Nice.
The only thing I didn't like was the water - sometimes it was warm enough and sometimes not very. That was no problem in August. But if it happens in winter as well, that may be a bit annoying.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
